I SORT OF met her. What I mean by that is that she waved at me. She came to do a speech at my university. I had gotten permission to take my quiz early and thus get out of class early so I could hear her speak. The line was still impossibly long when I got to her speech. I was standing behind some slightly obnoxious law students when her motorcade went by, and I looked at her, she looked at me, she waved, and I waved back. I ended up not getting into the speech, though.

Internal Flame has been supportive of my goals since day one, and she and I have TONS in common!

He represents what we should all strive for, a perfect human being. If we all strove to be more like Him, even knowing that we would inevitably fail because we are human, the world would be a MUCH better place.

One day Sara had weird Greek letters written in the dust on her car. She didn’t know what to do, so she called me. We sat around with our friend Claire and pondered what to do. We got the dorm cop involved. He wrote things in his little cop notebook and examined the writings with his flashlight. He said things like “I guess you have to chalk it up to one of those weird Alabama experiences.” Meanwhile people are coming and going and wondering what is going on. It was quite a memorable evening.

Need I say more?

He’s gorgeous. I don’t care if he’s, well, out of my normal age range. He’s also extremely talented.

I went to school with a relative of his (he was actually at my high school graduation, Secret Service and all). For a field trip about five years ago, we toured the Carter Center and got to hear him speak about eradicating the guinea worm in Africa. Regardless of what you think about his politics, he is an amazing human being.

We’ve connected over some common goals and like any other normal person, I like meeting people that have common ground with me :)

Also…she made a team (my first ever) with me! How awesome is that?!
